Art work update

Hi guys!
Its been a very long time. I've been doing lots of 2 day projects on my course since I last updated. I am actually behind on work a bit as well making it hard to update :P anyway I just wanted to show some of the best of the work so far.

 This was one of the better photograms I have made.

 I made this model in 3D design. I made it with the dynamic and tension features in mind.

 These are floral study portraits I made.

 These are still life studies of a shoe I made.

 I made this Image of a shoe using a printing method.

 This was the final piece of my fine art project. I had to transform a book into a 3D piece of our choice. My piece was made of fairytale books so my piece represented a mermaid.

 This was part of my graphic design project. I had to make different fonts for one letter based on different adjectives.

 This was my photography project. I had to take photographs based on different words and phases. I also made photographs by manipulating paper and light.

 This was my 3D design project. the brief for this project was to make a 3D piece that that transforms when light is put to it and transforms light around it. So basically I made a lampshade.

 This was my fashion and textiles project. I had to make a garment out of plastics (such as carrier bags) that are manipulated by heat (using an iron). I made a bobble hat with a checkered pattern.

This was my animation project. For this project I had to create my own character design, a model of this character made from paper and then a short clip of this character moving. My character was a creepy doctor crocodile. I really enjoyed making it.

I hope you like the work so far. I'm off to Venice next week to see the Venice Biennale. Very excited! I hope to see some very exciting work while I'm there. Again hopefully I will be updating the  more regularly now... but I wont hold my breathe :P

Art Pieces!!!

Hi finally got around post some work from the last week and a half. All these art pieces help develop my basic art skills (such as life drawing, use of mark making materials, using Adobe PhotoShop and other aspects). I'll try update my blog my frequently from now on. Hi everybody!!! Been a long time I posted anything I know. Any way I started Art Foundation this week and I love it! We have been trying a lot of different experimental ways of art. It's really interesting. Also found out were going to Venice in November to see the Venice Biennale, which is apparently the biggest art festivals in the world. I havn't got much good work to show you this week but theres a sample of collage we were doing below. Going to try my best to post every week from now on. Tara till then :D

Final Edit (I Hope)

So this is my final edit on the sign, I hope anyway. I still have to show it to my boss to see what she thinks, but I doubt she will want to change much. Now I can move on to this character design exercise I want to try out. Enjoy :)

Top Gun Sign

Heres some various sign designs I put together while I was on the ferry to Ireland. There all very similar except for the backgrounds, font colour and the waves. Any ideas on how to develop the designs will be very welcome. Enjoy :)

Final Designs... Again

Hi guys. I did some tweeks to the last few designs I posted and I am now starting to put my final light house design together. Anyway here they are and if anyone has some suggestions to make better the designs please let me know. Enjoy :)

New Lighthouse and Fish Designs and Special Notice

O.K. so this should be the final designs for the lighthouse and fish in the top gun sign. Thanks to this project I'm starting to learn more of the functions of Photoshop.

Also, good luck to all my friends who got nominated in the Glammies tomorrow. Sorry to those who didn't get nominated, but well done on all your great work you have done for the past three years. I know it's biased of me but, GO "DAY 83" FOR THE WIN!!! :)
